The membrane is directly laminated against the outer fabric meaning you have optimal waterproofness and the pants won't get all soggy and heavy with water. Level 2 class A protectors on the knees as well as reflective elements ensure a high level of safety. These pants can still be retrofitted with hip protectors (sold separately).
