Nautica Hard Eco is a new and innovative addition to Lefants biocide free bottom paint range, suitable for sailing and motorboats in all ranges of speed. The hard matrix contributes to reduce friction and increased speed, as well as reducing fuel consumption. Nautica Hard Eco protects the boat against fouling and gives a surface that is easy to keep clean. Also suitable and safe for use on aluminium hulls and can be applied directly on a wide range of existing coatings.

Number of Coats: 2 coats for seasonal protection. Extra coats in areas where the fricton and wear are higher, such as rudder, stem, waterline.

Launching - 24h - 12h/2 mth.
 
Conditions during application: Do not paint in wet or humid conditions. The substrate temperature should not understep +5?C during the application and 6 hours after the job is done. Drying times and overcoating intervals will increase with thicker paint layers. When applying in confined spaces, make sure the area is sufficiently ventilated.
 
SURFACE PREPARATIONS
Surface in good condition: Remove all traces of loose paint and contamination by sanding the entire surface well with 80 grit sandpaper. Remove sanding debris.
 
Surface in poor condition: Completely remove all old antifouling paint using Lefant Paint Remover or by sanding or sandblasting to near base surface.
 
Surface of BARE Gelcoat/GRP: It is very important that bare gelcoat/GRP be properly prepared. Remove mold release wax using Lefant Boat Cleaner concentrated followed by using Lefant IPA Surface Cleaner.
Sand the surface rough (grit 80)and fill any surface imperfections with
Lefant Epoxi Filler following the label instructions. Apply at least one layer of Lefant Epoxi Primer by following label instruction.
