The Headwave Tag 2 is a wireless music system for motorcycle helmets.

The Headwave team believes that everything that's fun is even better with the right music! That's why the Headwave Tag was invented. Tag is the new standard among helmet loudspeakers. The special thing about Tag is that it uses the helmet itself as a resonating body. Tag is simply glued to the outside of the helmet and creates a surround sound inside the helmet via vibrations - the result is comparable to music in a car or a surround system in the living room. The advantage is that it is completely wireless and nothing blocks or presses on the ears. Headwave is the legal and safe solution for listening to music or navigation announcements on a motorcycle.

Tag 2 now comes with a chic new design, has 20 % more battery life and is about 20 % louder than its predecessor. In addition, the Tag 2 now has new volume buttons directly on the device.

It is Bluetooth-compatible, supports voice playback from the navigation device, is compatible with KTM and BMW systems, installed in about 2 minutes using a powerful special pad, has a long battery life, is also waterproof, completely wireless, fits on any helmet and creates an ingenious surround sound without blocking the ears.

How does the Tag work? It uses sound vibrations generated by tactile transmission and is therefore attached to the outside of the helmet. Thanks to its adaptable design, Tag can be adapted to all available helmet sizes and shapes. Because Tag is attached externally and no installation inside the helmet is necessary, neither fit nor comfort is affected. Using a high performance adhesive pad specially designed to fit the shape of the Tag, installation takes less than a minute: peel off protective film, stick it to the recommended area on the helmet, and you're done. The tape was developed specifically for the automotive industry to securely attach external components to the car. Even at 300 km/h, there is no risk of the day becoming detached. When changing the helmet, Tag can be removed from the helmet without residue and without damaging it.

How it sounds? The music comes from all directions. Headwave calls this "Environmental Listening". It gives the impression of being in the middle of a private concert - hence the term Concert Capsule™. The vibrations also produce powerful basses, which makes the music tactilely tangible. The spatial sound is simply impressive.
