    The all-new Simpson Darksome represents our best expression of modernisation of an icon. This flip-up reminds of the 70's unique Simpson design, but noise reduction and aerodynamics has been successfully improved. A solid mechanism locks the chinbar in place, clos ed or open, the visor can be removed removing the tool-free plates which cover the mechanisms.

    The shell features tricomposite technology and a lighter, full carbon version is available. The EPS hosts the wide channels of the venting system, which provides the right airflow at any adjustment. The enlarged field of view provides a limitless vertical and peripheral vision; Pinlock MaxVision lenses are included in the box. ECE 22.06 certified.

    Simpson Performance Products was founded in 1959 by Bill Simpson. Its manufacturing facility is located in New Braunfels, Texas. A line of Simpson helmets has been in production since 1979, the basic design was revised and renamed the Bandit. The company played an important role in the development and improvement of the motorcycle version, the Venom, adding new features like the sun visor and obtaining both ECE and DOT safety certifications.
