The S3 compound ensures low abrasive interaction with the brake disc and much quieter braking thanks to the ceramic composite material. It can also operate at higher temperatures than AD. Materials include metal-ceramic with bronze and graphite for dry and wet use. Coarse non-metallic friction additives are spread evenly over the base fine bronze body to achieve optimal friction properties.
